Nomination Criterion

A. Candidate must have been a Lakota student athlete, A Lakota Employee, or a support person of the Lakota Athletic Program.

B. Admission to the Lakota Athletic hall of Fame is based upon athletic performance and contribution for Lakota.

C. Any student athlete must be a minimum of five years out of high school. A Lakota Employee must be a minimum of two years beyond Lakota Employment. A Lakota support person must be two years beyond the event or time period of service.

D. There will be no restrictions on the number of years of Lakota attendance for a student athlete.

Each inductee will be recognized with the presentation of a personal plaque highlighting his or her contribution to the Lakota School District athletic program. In addition, a commemorative plaque with the inductee's name will be enshrined in an appropriate place of honor in both Lakota West, Lakota East High Schools and the Lakota Central Office. The formal presentation will be made at a banquet in late March. Details will be publicized as this date is firmed up.
